Habsburg · Harbin · Since 2019
Habsburg Hotel puts 205 European light-luxury rooms on Youyi Road, two minutes from the riverbank and the cable car to Sun Island, five from the head of Central Street — with Saint Sophia Cathedral, Zhaolin Park and the metro within a stroll.
Why guests choose the Habsburg
Opened 2019 on the Songhua riverbank, scored 9.7/10 by 16,891 Trip.com guests and ranked No. 1 of Global Traveller-Picked Hotels in Harbin — the European light-luxury address where the staff culture, the location and the window view keep winning the votes.
River-view rooms face the water in every season — frozen parade ground in winter, barges and evening glow in summer — two minutes from the riverbank.
Ranked by travellers themselves: 9.7/10 from 16,891 stays, with a staff culture reviewers compare to five-star hotels.
From river kings and panorama doubles to family suites with humidifiers — every room is individually climate-controlled with free Wi-Fi.
The Flood Control Memorial Tower and Central Street are a five-minute stroll; the metro sits under the hotel and the cable car crosses to Sun Island.

The concept
Habsburg Hotel carries the city’s Russian inheritance indoors: a Habsburg-styled lobby on Youyi Road, warm woods and soft golds instead of glass and chrome, a restaurant where Chinese and Western chefs share the pass, and Russian-style afternoon tea appearing in the lobby as the afternoon turns.
Then the setting does the rest: the Songhua two minutes north, the Flood Control Memorial Tower and Central Street five minutes south, the cable car to Sun Island at the doorstep — and 205 rooms, from river kings to family suites with humidifiers, to bring the whole household home to. Rated 9.7/10 by 16,891 guests.

The house restaurant runs Chinese and Western chefs side by side — Russian-leaning classics alongside Heilongjiang standards — while the breakfast buffet holds the table from 7:00 to 12:00. “The staff are so kind and welcoming every day,” one guest wrote of the dining room; “the afternoon tea with snacks is excellent,” wrote another.
As the day turns, the executive lounge and the Chinese tea room take over — and after the ice festival lets out, warm drinks meet you at the door.

“While the hotel is not the newest, the staff make up for it — the butlers helped with our luggage and greeted us with bottles of water. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Location was excellent: steps away from the Line 3 subway and the ropeway to Sun Island, with Central Street within walking distance and lots of great eateries along it.”
